While I don't guarantee the fo-ti will make your hair black again, there are lots of claims in the Internet that tell you not only that, but they insist that you will get your lost hair back. There are many other claims about this plant including liver, kidneys, colesterol, bronchitis, etc. Fo-ti is hardy to -15 degrees, zone 5A. It will not tolerate too much heat, I have seen web sites that claim it will grow in zone 7, and I have also read that fo-ti is invasive in zone 8, Since it does not tolerate a lot of heat and sunlight, it should be grown in the shade.
