Lombardy Poplar

It is a beautiful tree, grows to 70 ft. in no time, but it also gets canker and half of the trees die from it before their eleventh birthday.

Lombardy grows about 8 to 10 ft. per year. It suckers badly and drops dead branches all the time. The lombardy is a hybrid poplar that was introduced in the United States from Italy in 1784.

If you still want some of these, I will carry them in 2005 To order, please go to the live tree page
