I offer a fertilizer that comes in packets called forest-paks, one pak is enough for one small tree. The formula of these paks is 18-6-6 plus calcium, magnesium and boron.

Another item I offer is Mycorrhizal fungus. Its purpose is to form a bond between the fertilizer and the roots. Without it, much of the fertilizer and other nutrients in the soil will be wasted. This fungus also prevents harmful pathogens from entering the root system. This product has to be applied only once. For more information on Mycorrhizal check out this web site... RTI

Here is what I have packaged for your convenience:

Fertilizer & Mico paks

Item PAF25
25 Myco Paks and 25 forest-paks. All the food needed for 25 small trees. $11.56 - For 6 ft. trees double the dose.

Fertilizer & Mico paks

Item PAF100
100 Myco paks and 100 forest-paks. All the food needed for 100 small trees. $41.25- For 6 ft. trees double the dose.

Fertilizer paks

tem PAF1
100 bags of Forest-pak 10 grams of 18-6-6 plus sulfur, calcium, manganese, iron, boron, copper and zinc. $20.63.
You can give Forest paks to existing trees, just put them in the drip line, just below the soil surface. Keep in mind these packs are only 10 grams, enough for very small trees, therefore, if you are feeding a larger tree, increase the dose accordingly.

Zinc Sulfate

Item PAF6 $4.00
11.5 oz. When your plants are turning yellow for no reason, is a clear indication that they have a zinc deficiency. Sprinkle liberaly. Water soluble.

Watersorb

What else should you add to the ground before you plant? If you are concerned with not being able to water your trees on time, or if your soil is very sandy and water just goes thru it, you could add Watersorb, a polymer that retains water. I sell this by the pound, but, be aware, do not use too much of this or you will drown your plants. Use as much as a tablespoon of watersorb for each tree, no more. The watersorb has to be mixed well with the soil prior to planting the tree or cuttings. It is not always practical to use watersorb, for instance when you plant cuttings by just making a hole in the ground and placing the cutting in it.

How else can you use watersorb? Industry is using this in a lot of different applications. Put some water in a plastic bag, some food coloring, a pinch of watersorb, seal it (zip-lock won't do it, it has to be sealed) and you have a hot or cold compress which you can use in the microwave Be sure to leave no air trapped in the bag or it will explode when put in the microwave oven. For freezer use add some sugar to prevent it from getting hard. these compresses sell for $16 each at the drugstore, you can make it for about 4 cents. The latest scream in uses for watersorb... sanitary napkins.

PA05 - 1 pound of medium watersorb, $9.00 Watersorb, 1 lb.

Rooting Hormones

With every order of Hormodin, I will include a Hormodin brochure which shows you how to use it. If you are into propagating, you can use it with many different cuttings that you can take from your own plants. The brochure lists about 180 different plants that can be propagated by cuttings and what strength of Hormodin required.
Item PAF3 Hormodin 3
one ounce of Hormodin 3, one of the strongest rooting compounds around. Enough for many cuttings. I mix a tbsp of Hormodin with about 3 tbsp of instant mashed potato flakes and shake it well. When I insert the cutting in this mix, it will come out covered with enough Hormodin attached to it. Discard any product you don't use since it can become contaminated. $4.50 per jar.

Item PAF4 Hormodin 1
2 ounce jar. Enough for hundreds of cuttings. Since it is very easy to contaminate it, take some out and put it in a shallow dish. I mix that with some instant mashed potato flakes. When I insert the cutting in this mix, it will come out covered with enough Hormodin attached to it. Discard any unused product. $4.50 per jar.
